I think I’m losing it. I’ve been reminiscing about my old Stratus sedan a lot lately. This has got me searching for the one that got away. Years ago, a 2006 Stratus RT sedan just like this:
Came for sale at a local dealer. It was clean, low mileage, 2.7L, 5-speed manual. I wanted it terribly, but the time was not right for another car. Now I want one terribly, but there are none to be found.

Did it actually come with that wing? I feel like I've seen those cars thousands of times over the years, but never with that wing.

It was an actual factory GFX package. I think it was only available on that specific color. I may be wrong, but that is the only color I’ve ever seen that package on.
The RT sedan was rare to begin with. The RT/manual even more so. The Orange RT/Manual/GFX is a goddamn unicorn.

I liked the looks of those sedans when new, and I still think that they look nice, but something about that wing on that car just feels wrong to me.

Idk, I love it. Not usually a “wing” guy, but something about them is just dead sexy to me.

You’re the first person I’ve ever known to lust or reminisce over a Stratus.

Our 06 SXT was a truly nice car. Comfortable, decent options, good driving dynamics, enough power, decent fuel economy.
It was even nicer after I added intake/headers/exhaust/tune and upgraded the suspension. Other than a cat issue at 60k which led to the engine upgrades and a suspension rebuild at 100k ( yay WI roads ), that car never gave us anything but reliable service for the 200+ k miles we owned it.

Shit, I can buy 5-speed coupes all over for around $1k, that’s a total CP.
